Everything on one screen
Your buckets stay on the left, the bucket you open sits beside them, and a task opens in a third panel without anything sliding away. The lines between the panels drag, and the widths stick.

Type in the bar at the foot of a bucket and press return. Keep typing to add the next one. The field in the top bar files to your Inbox from wherever you are.
Write it into the task — pay rent friday, standup 430pm, call mom 9am. Tida reads the date, sets the reminder, and tidies the words away.
The circle finishes a task and finishes it back. The name opens it in the panel on the right, where notes, a due date, reminders and repeats live.
Sideways: right tucks it under the task above as a subtask, left pulls it back out. Up and down: anywhere in the list, at any depth. Onto a bucket on the left: it moves there, subtasks and all.
A task offers Open, Complete, Move to bucket, a due date and Delete. A bucket offers Open, Rename, Reorder and Delete. The empty space inside a bucket offers Paste a list.
⌘P docks Tida as a narrow column at the edge of your screen, the right width to sit beside a document. ⌘P again gives you the window back, the size it was.
⌘N a new bucket. ⌘F search. ⌘1, ⌘2, ⌘3 for Upcoming as a list, by week, across the month. ⌘⌫ deletes the task you have open. Escape closes whatever is on top. ⌘, for Settings.
Buckets group your tasks however you think — Work, Home, Errands. New tasks land in your Inbox. Make another from the bucket icon in the top bar, or File, New Bucket. Buckets shows them as a grid; Rows lists them one to a line. Both live in Settings, under Appearance.
Drag any bucket and it lifts straight away, no mode to enter. For deleting and a longer tidy, the up-and-down arrows in the top bar start the wiggle: drag, click a minus to remove one, then Done. Inbox always leads; Upcoming moves with the rest.
Hold the mouse on a bucket to see what’s inside without leaving the one you’re working in. Let go and it closes.
Open Upcoming for everything with a due date. As a list it keeps your buckets beside it; by week or across the month it takes the width of both panels.
Have a list somewhere else? Open a bucket, click the clipboard in its header, and paste. One task per line, indent a line to make it a subtask, and dates in the text are read as you’d expect. Tab indents inside that field.
There’s no Tida account and no Tida server — your tasks are never sent to us. On the free plan everything stays on this device. With Premium it syncs through your own iCloud, held by Apple under your Apple ID.
