Your buckets stay on the left, the bucket you open sits beside them, and a task opens in a third panel without anything sliding away. Turn the iPad upright and the task rises as a card from the bottom instead. The lines between the panels drag, and the widths stick.
Add anything
Type in the bar at the bottom of a bucket and press return. Keep typing to add the next one. The field in the top bar files to your Inbox from wherever you are.
Type the time, skip the picker
Write it into the task — pay rent friday, standup 430pm, call mom 9am. Tida reads the date, sets the reminder, and tidies the words away.
Tap the circle, tap the name
The circle finishes a task and finishes it back. The name opens it in the panel beside, where notes, a due date, reminders and repeats live.
Gestures
Swipe to nest, swipe back out
Swipe a task right to tuck it under the one above as a subtask, as many levels deep as you like. Swipe left to pull it back out.
Drag it anywhere
Grab the handle and drag a task to any spot and any depth. Drag it over a bucket on the left and it moves there, subtasks and all.
Swipe a done task away
Finished with it for good? Swipe a completed task left to delete. You’ll get a moment to undo.
Organize
Sort into buckets
Buckets group your tasks however you think — Work, Home, Errands. New tasks land in your Inbox. The bucket icon in the top bar makes another, with a name, a colour and an emoji.
Two ways to see home
Buckets shows them as a grid of cards. Rows lists them one to a line with what’s left in each. Both live in Settings, under Appearance, with a preview of your own layout.
Rearrange the home screen
Tap the up-and-down arrows in the top bar and the buckets start to wiggle. Drag them into the order you want, tap a minus to delete one, then tap Done. Inbox always leads; Upcoming moves with the rest.
Press and hold to peek
Hold a bucket on the left to see what’s inside without leaving the one you’re working in. Let go and it closes.
See what’s coming
Open Upcoming for everything with a due date. As a list it keeps your buckets beside it; by week or across the month it takes the width of both panels.
Paste a list
Have a list somewhere else? Open a bucket, tap the clipboard in its header, and paste. One task per line, indent a line to make it a subtask, and dates in the text are read as you’d expect.
Your data
Your data stays yours
There’s no Tida account and no Tida server — your tasks are never sent to us. On the free plan everything stays on this device. With Premium it syncs through your own iCloud, held by Apple under your Apple ID.
